1. Types of Pollution
  •     Air pollution
  •     Soil pollution
  •     Noise pollution
  •     Soil pollution
2. Causes of pollution
3. How to control pollution

Environmental pollution is the curse of nature which is caused by humans. Human beings have created an imbalance in nature which is showing the wrath of nature in the form of pollution. In today's time, man is neither getting pure food nor pure water and air. There is not even a quiet environment to live in.  Due to the presence of pollutants in water, air, these elements of nature become polluted.

Types of Pollution

Water pollution
Air pollution – The air becomes polluted due to the presence of pollutants in the air. This air has the opposite effect on the health of human beings. The poisonous smoke from the factories gets into the air. It is the main cause of air pollution. Smoke from vehicles is also responsible for air pollution.

Water pollution – The impurity water and chemical substances emitted from factories together pollute the rivers and sea water. Drinking this polluted water leads to many types of serious diseases.

Noise pollution – The noise emanating from the machinery of the factories is responsible for the noise pollution. Excessive noise of vehicles also creates noise pollution. This creates deafness and stress in humans.

Soil pollution – Soil  pollution is caused by the presence of pollutants in the soil. Nowadays pesticides are sprayed to increase crop production in farming. By this, pesticides eliminate the fertility of the soil.

Causes of pollution

  • The widespread and most common cause of pollution is man-made. Human beings are over-exploiting nature in the throes of modernity. This is depleting natural resources. The resources that are left are also getting polluted due to pollution.
  •
  • The main cause of pollution is the toxic fumes and chemical substances emitted from the factories yesterday. Both of these smoke gets polluted by the presence of this smoke in the air and chemical substances in the water.
  •
  • Increasing vehicles in cities is also a cause of pollution. Excessive vehicles increase traffic and the toxic fumes emitted from them increase, which leads to air pollution. Excessive noise of vehicles also leads to noise pollution. Loudspeakers and sirens of factories also increase noise pollution.
  •
  • Indiscriminate felling of trees is also increasing pollution. The natural balance has deteriorated due to the dwindling forests. One of the reasons for the steep rise in noise pollution and air pollution is also the felling of trees.
  •
  • Volcanoes, floods, earthquakes also cause air and water pollution. Nuclear explosion testing also increases air pollution. By nuclear testing, radioactive materials are added to the air.
  •
  • The increasing population is also a cause of increasing pollution. Noise pollution, water pollution, air pollution are also the reason for the increase in the increasing population.
  •
  • Pollution has a wide range of side effects. Everything in nature is being distorted by pollution.
  •
  • Air pollution, water pollution and noise pollution cause natural imbalances. The expansion and decreasing greenery in the desert lands are the effects of pollution.
  •
  • Pollution creates many types of epidemics that make humans and animals sick. Pollution is also responsible for the declining health of humans. Air pollution spreads respiratory diseases. Noise pollution increases deafness and stress.
  •
  • Water pollution pollutes the water of rivers and seas. This affects aquatic organisms. Many aquatic species have been destroyed by it. Bathing with this contaminated water is likely to cause skin disease. Drinking polluted water also invites many diseases.
  •
  • Due to the presence of pollutants in the fertile land, that land becomes barren. Spraying of pesticides in the soil also leads to soil pollution.
  •
  • Due to pollution, the temperature of the earth is constantly increasing. The cause of the hole in the ozone layer is also due to air pollution. The melting of the glacier has led to an increase in the water level.

How to control pollution

It is difficult to eliminate pollution, but it can be reduced by taking some measures.

  • The measures to prevent pollution can reduce pollution to a great extent. All countries have to come together to stop pollution. Strict rules have to be made to prevent pollution.
  •
  • Global warming is also a problem which is getting even more serious due to increasing pollution. To deal with this, it is necessary to stop air pollution.
  •
  • Social awareness can also be a good measure. People should be made aware of the serious dangers of environmental pollution. It is our responsibility and responsibility to protect the environment.
  •
  • The problem of pollution can also be solved by education. Children should be made aware of the environment in the school syllabus. The importance of nature should be essential in the education of children.
  •
  • There should be measures to prevent smoke and chemical substances from the factories from getting into the air and water. The standard of pollution should be fixed.
  •
  • More and more trees should be planted, which can get rid of the problem of pollution. Planting trees is like earning a punya.
  •
  • We ourselves pollute the environment and spread disharmony. It is our duty to keep cleanliness. Cleanliness gives a better life. Garbage is dumped everywhere. This garbage mixes in the water and pollutes it. The pollutants of the waste mix in the air and pollute it.
  •
  • It is our responsibility to maintain the beauty of the earth. It is our duty to make the earth pollution-free. It is also our responsibility to maintain the balance of nature. We are responsible for polluting ourselves and it is up to us to reduce it. It is our duty to provide information about the cause, effect and prevention of pollution in the essay on pollution.
