  1. Preface: India's birth anniversary of the land sages, munis, and many karmaveers. Many great men have been born here, so there have also been scientists who have taken the country's name to the peak. One of these is a well-known name - Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, who served the nation in two forms. One as a scientist and the other as President. The country knows him by the name of Missile Man.
  2. Introduction to Life: Dr. Kalam was born on October 15, 1931, in a town called Rameswaram in the state of Tamil Nadu. His father's name was Zainulabadin, and his mother's name was Ashyamma. His father was an educated middle-class man who was not very wealthy. Her mother was an ideal woman. His father and the priest of the Rameswaram temple had a deep friendship, which also had an impact on Kalam's life. His father used to make boats for pilgrims to and from Rameswaram to Dhanushkodi. 
  3. Education: Dr. Kalam's early education took place in Tamil Nadu. He then joined The Schwarz High School in Ramanathapuram. After completing the higher secondary examination in the first class, he took admission to St. Joseph's College for inter studies. After studying here for four years and passing the B.S.C. in the first class, he started writing science-related articles in the 'Hindu magazine.' He also did a diploma in aeronautics engineering.
  4. Missile Man Dr. Kalam - Dr. Kalam was worried about his career. He was selected for the post of pilot in the Indian Air Force but failed in the interview. He then joined the Defence Research and Development Organisation in 1958. His first appointment was in Hyderabad. There he served as a research assistant for five years. He worked here till the year 1980 and took space science to new heights. He devoted much of his life to research. His contribution to the nuclear sector cannot be forgotten. Under his leadership, the famous Pokhran test of May 1, 1998, was carried out. He is called missile man because of taking the missile program to new heights. 
  5. President Dr. Kalam: The golden day in the Republic of India came on July 25, 2002, when Dr. Kalam, popularly known as the Missile Man, graced the office of the President and took the oath of office and secrecy on the same day. Though his connection was far from the world of politics, by a combination of coincidence and fortune, he adorned the post as the twelfth President of India. He acted impartially and with utmost sincerity while in office as President. 
  6. Honors and Decorations: Dr. Kalam was awarded and decorated with the country's highest honor 'Bharat Ratna' for his hard work that took the nuclear and space program to new heights. He was awarded the Padma Vibhushan in 1981 and the 'Padma Bhushan' in 1990. He is the third scientist in the country to be awarded the 'Bharat Ratna.' 

The simple life was high thought – Gandhiji's ideas influenced Dr. Kalam. They lived simply. His ideas were of a very high order. They were attached to the children. He used to go to various schools and encourage and guide the children. They believed in completing today's work today. Dr. Kalam, who loved children, also died among the children in 2015 when they were sharing their experiences among them. 

Epilogue: Dr. Kalam was a very unbelievable person. They were hardworking and dutiful. As a scientist, he took the missile program to new heights; while he was President, he contributed a lot to the country's progress. His life is a source of inspiration for us Indians.
